Sweden's first tournament in Urban Golf is carried out on the streets of Elvine's hometown of Gothenburg. Lang guides the contestants on a track in urban environments with stops at various bars.

On June 30, 2018, a group of competitors will meet up in the streets of Gothenburg for a mental golf experience together with one of the biggest names in the sport. Sweden's first tournament in Urban Golf, Elvine Urban Golf, is led by the Los Angeles based golf profile Erik Anders Lang. The tournament will be played on June 30 at Ringön in Gothenburg. The ca ten contestants compete for the title in urban surroundings with stops for drinks at various bars. The public are welcome to follow the tournament.

- Urban Golf is a street sport. It has a skateboarder attitude, but with golf clubs. Playing golf in urban environments is both fun and challenging - a perfect way to discover new places and hang out with people you like! I'm excited to get Urban Golf to Sweden along with Elvine, "says director, producer and golf enthusiast Erik Anders Lang.

The director and producer Erik Anders Lang began his career as a protégé for the photographer David LaChapelle. Lang has, among other things, been known as the author of the star-studded documentary Be the Ball, as host of the Adventures in Golf series and for his marriage to the world-famous Sia (Furler).

"I saw Erik’s film about Urban Golf and was completely hooked. It's a sport that matches Elvine's philosophy of a relaxed attitude to life and a joyful lifestyle in town. I get chills in my bones just thinking about that Erik and his production team come to Gothenburg to do this with us. We have just launched a new jacket concept called Function Stretch, which is great for playing Urban Golf, especially in a city with unpredictable weather. The jackets have four-way stretch and the fabric is both waterproof and windproof. Perfect for Sweden's first tournament in Urban Golf, says Malin Kiriazidou, Marketing Manager at Elvine.

Elvine organizes Sweden's first Urban Golf competition and presents a series of jackets with the new material Function Stretch - an extremely flexible material in four-way stretch that is also wind- and waterproof with a water column of 5,000 millimetres. The surface is treated with Bionic-Finish Eco, an impregnation that contains no dangerous perforated substances (PFAS). The jackets come in three different models in the colours of carbon black and deep olive green.
